Decided to do some painting last night. Quite enjoyed it but I definitely feel like I should be working bigger than this.
I love oil paint, I love the texture, the way it looks, the way it can be worked into. I should really make sure I keep up painting so that I can improve.

I love the work of Jenny Saville and Lucien Freud.
If I were to paint, I would follow classical
nude studies too.
Finding a subject/theme is a good way to be
able to judge how you develop a signature style.
It's also far more fun than sitting in front of
a screen messing about with photoshop.
